In ancient times the catapult was used to hurl objects at the enemy. This catapult is used to teach designed experiments or Taguchi Methods. The unit is produced for classroom use to allow students to conduct an experiment and determine the best combination of tilt, spring direction, draw back distance, ball position, and ball type for overcoming the enemy. The catapult experiment turns learning into fun. The unit has five factors, each of which can be varied over three levels.
